Text Summarizer

What is Text Summarizer?
Paste a long piece of text and get it condensed to what matters. You choose the shape of the summary, what it should concentrate on, and what language it comes out in. No account, and nothing held back for a paid tier.
Five summary styles, for five different jobs
Brief is a few sentences — enough to know whether the full text is worth your time. Standard is the default and the general-purpose choice. Detailed keeps the supporting points, which is what you want when the summary has to substitute for the original rather than preview it.
Bullet Points restructures rather than shortening — the right pick for notes you will scan later, or a summary going into a slide. Executive Summary writes for someone who will read nothing else: conclusions first, detail second, in the register a manager expects. Reaching for that one on a report you have to circulate saves the most time.
The focus control is the useful part
This is what the well-known summarizers do not offer, and it changes what gets kept rather than how much.
Key Points is the default, and behaves like an ordinary summary. Main Arguments keeps the reasoning and the position being taken, which is what you want from an opinion piece or a paper. Facts & Data pulls the numbers, dates and findings forward and lets the framing go — ideal for a research paper or a market report. Action Items is the one worth knowing about: point it at a meeting transcript or a long email thread and you get what was decided and who has to do something, which is a genuinely different output from a summary of the same text.
Summarise into another language
The output language can differ from the input. Leave it on Same as input, or choose from English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian or Hindi. Summarising and translating in one pass is quicker than doing each separately, and more useful — a summary translates more cleanly than a full document, because there is less room for an awkward rendering to hide.
Check the summary against the source
A summary is a set of choices about what to leave out, and those choices can drop something you needed — a caveat, a condition, the one paragraph that qualifies the conclusion. For anything consequential, skim the original with the summary beside it. That takes a fraction of the reading time and catches what was cut.
What happens to your text
Unlike the PDF and image tools on ToolsHall, this one is not browser-only: your text is sent to a language model to be summarised, so do not paste anything confidential or under an NDA. Input is capped at 8,000 characters per run, roughly 1,200 words, so a long report should be done section by section — which often produces a better summary anyway, since each part gets full attention. Usage is limited to 30 runs an hour.
