Business Name Generator

What is Business Name Generator?
Describe what your business does and get back 10, 20 or 30 name ideas, each with a tagline. You pick the naming style, how long the names should be, and who they are aimed at. No account, no email, and nothing withheld for a paid plan.
The six styles produce genuinely different lists
Descriptive names say what you do — easy to understand, harder to make distinctive, and often already taken. Modern & Catchy, the default, aims for short and memorable. Abstract invents words, which is how you get a name nobody else has and a spelling you will be repeating on the phone for years. Professional suits consultancies, legal and financial work. Creative goes furthest from the obvious, and Location-based anchors you to a place, which helps local search and hurts if you later expand.
Running the same description through two or three styles is the fastest way to work out what you actually want, and it costs nothing.
Describe the business properly
"Coffee shop" produces the names you would expect. "Specialty coffee bar for office workers near a train station, open from six" produces something worth shortlisting. Fill in the target market field too — names aimed at young professionals genuinely differ from names aimed at families. The generator only has your words to work with, and this is the field that changes the output most.
Before you commit to a name — three checks, in this order
This tool does not check any of these, and it is important to say so: several competitors check domain availability as they generate, and this one does not. Here is what to do instead, in order of how much it can cost you.
1. Trademarks. The one that matters. Search your country's trademark register for the name in your industry — most are free to search online. A name already registered by someone in your field can force a rename after you have printed everything, or worse. This is the check people skip and the one that bites.
2. Existing businesses. Search the name plainly, plus your city and your sector. A competitor two towns over with the same name is a permanent source of confusion even when it is legally fine.
3. Domain and social handles. Last, not first. An exact .com is nice and rarely essential now — a clear variant is fine. Check the handles on the platforms you will actually use while you are there.
What a name has to survive
Say each shortlisted name out loud, then imagine spelling it to someone on a phone call. Invented and cleverly misspelled names fail badly at both, and you will do it thousands of times. Check that it does not read awkwardly when run together in a domain, and that it means nothing unfortunate in the other languages your customers speak — a real consideration for anyone trading across the Gulf and beyond.
What happens to what you type
Unlike the PDF and image tools on ToolsHall, this one is not browser-only — your description is sent to a language model to generate the names. Usage is capped at 30 runs an hour, which keeps it free without an account.
